Stage 02
Design
We plan the structure and design modern, user-friendly interfaces you can review early.
What happens
- Planning the page structure, user journeys and key screens
- Designing layouts that work on mobile, tablet and desktop
- Applying your branding, or helping you shape a visual direction
- Considering accessibility from the start, designing to a WCAG 2.2 AA target
What you receive
- Page and screen designs for review
- A design direction agreed with you before development begins
What we need from you
- Your logo, brand colours and any style preferences
- Feedback on the designs, gathered in one place where possible
- Approval of the design direction
How we keep you informed
- Designs shared early so you can give feedback before anything is built
- Agreed review rounds, so changes are captured and tracked
Stage 03
Develop
We build and test with clean, secure and maintainable code, sharing progress as we go.
What happens
- Building the agreed features in small, reviewable steps
- Tracking every change in version control
- Testing as we go: automated checks where they suit the project, plus manual testing in the browser
- Checking responsiveness, accessibility and performance before release
What you receive
- Working progress you can review, for example on a private preview link
- A tested build ready for your final review
What we need from you
- Final content, such as text and images, when it is needed
- Feedback on progress and answers to questions as they come up
- Any accounts or access the build depends on, shared securely
How we keep you informed
- Progress updates at points agreed with you
- Questions raised early, rather than assumptions made
- Any change to the agreed scope discussed with you before it goes ahead
Stage 04
Launch & Support
We deploy carefully and stay on hand for updates, improvements and ongoing support.
What happens
- Final checks with you before going live
- Deploying to your hosting and confirming everything works as expected
- Fixing any issues found at launch
- Planning improvements and new features for future phases, if you want them
What you receive
- Your live website, app or software
- Handover agreed as part of your scope, such as access details and guidance on using your new system
- Options for ongoing support and maintenance, discussed with you
What we need from you
- Final approval to go live
- Hosting, domain or app store access, where needed
- Feedback after launch so we can keep improving

- A clear launch plan agreed in advance
- Confirmation once your project is live

Version control
We track every change in Git, so work is recorded, reviewable and can be rolled back if needed.
Testing
We test throughout development, combining automated checks with manual testing across screen sizes.
Handover
What you receive at handover, such as access details, source code and guidance, is agreed in your project scope.
Support
After launch, we can help with updates, fixes and improvements. Support options are agreed with you.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the size and complexity of the project. Once we understand your requirements in the Discover stage, we'll give you an estimated timeline along with your quote.
How much will my project cost?
Every project is different, so we don't publish fixed prices. After discovery, we'll send you a tailored quote based on the agreed scope.
How involved do I need to be?
Your input matters most at the start and at review points: sharing your goals, giving feedback on designs and progress, and approving the scope and launch. We'll tell you what we need and when.
What happens if my requirements change?
That's normal. We'll talk through the change, explain how it affects the scope, timeline and cost, and only go ahead once you've agreed.
Can you work with my existing website or system?
Often, yes. We'll review what you have during discovery and recommend whether to improve, extend or rebuild it.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes, support can be arranged after launch. The details, such as what's covered, are agreed with you as part of your project.
